“Winning a tax dispute means that our client can devote more resources to business development and avoid disruptions and even bankruptcy. A winning case must be systematic, consistent, substantiated and presented confidently, making timely and appropriate use of arguments and procedural instruments provided by law. Our track record, expertise and breadth of perspective enables us to do all this. But our primary goal is to keep issues from reaching the dispute stage in the first place. In our practice, we resolve some 80% of issues while the tax authorities are still gathering and analyzing information. We do this by mapping out a strategy and compiling a “defense file” for potential challenges by the authorities and so protect our clients’ money, time and reputation.”
